COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ASUS ProArt Create League Competition

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is ASUS (“the Promoter”).

 

2. Competition Name

The competition is titled “ProArt Create League” (“the Competition”).

 

3. Competition Period & Stages

3.1 The Competition commences on 1 February 2026 and closes on 31 March 2026 at 23:59 (South African Standard Time).

3.2 The Competition will take place in the following stages:

  • Stage 1 – Entry Period:
    Entries may be submitted from 1 February 2026 to 6 March 2026.

  • Stage 2 – Filtering & Finalist Selection:
    All eligible entries will be reviewed, and finalists selected from 6 March 2026.

  • Stage 3 – Judging & Winner Selection:
    Final judging will take place, and the final winner will be selected and announce by 15 April 2026.

3.3 No entries received after the Stage 1 closing date will be considered.

4. Eligibility

4.1 The Competition is open to South African residents only.

4.2 Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.

4.3 Employees of the Promoter, its agents, contractors, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

4.4 By entering, participants confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements.

4.5 Participants’ social media profiles used to enter the Competition must be set to public for the duration of the Competition. Entries submitted from private accounts may not be visible to the Promoter and will not be considered valid.

 

5. Entry Limits

Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish, provided that each submission meets the entry requirements set out in these Terms & Conditions.

 

6. How to Enter

6.1 To enter, participants must submit a video that complies with the following criteria:

  • Duration must be between 30 seconds and 1 minute

  • The video must be at least 70% original content

  • Content may not be fully AI-generated or primarily AI-assisted

  • Any AI-generated images, assets, or elements must be clearly disclosed at the time of submission

6.2 Participants must provide the following information upon entry:

  • Name

  • Surname

  • Email address

  • Cell phone number

  • Tick-box consent confirming acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy

6.3 Incomplete, misleading, non-compliant, or inaccessible entries (including those submitted via private social profiles) may be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion.

 

7. AI Usage Disclosure

7.1 All AI-generated images or elements used in the video must be disclosed during submission.

7.2 Failure to disclose AI usage may result in immediate disqualification.

 

8. Originality & Intellectual Property

8.1 Participants warrant that all submitted content is original, lawfully created, and does not infringe any third-party intellectual property or personal rights.

8.2 By submitting content, participants grant ASUS a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, adapt, display, and publish the submitted artwork and video content globally, for marketing, promotional, commercial, and communication purposes, with or without attribution.

8.3 No additional compensation will be payable for such use.

 

9. Final Round & Mentorship

9.1 Selected participants may advance to a final round of the Competition.

9.2 Finalists will be given the opportunity to resubmit or enhance their video after accessing mentorship videos provided by the Promoter.

9.3 Participation in the final round does not guarantee a prize.

 

10. Prizes

10.1 The prize consists of:

  • R100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Rand) cash prize, and

  • One ASUS ProArt laptop, and

  • One ASUS ProArt 5K monitor

10.2 The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and may not be substituted for cash or any other item, except where required by law.

 

11. Winner Selection & Notification

11.1 The winner will be selected by a judging panel appointed by the Promoter based on criteria including creativity, originality, storytelling, technical execution, and adherence to the brief.

11.2 The final winner will be selected by 15 April 2026 and contacted by 10 April 2026 using the contact details provided at entry.

11.3 If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within a reasonable period, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

 

12. Prize Delivery

12.1 The prize will be delivered to the winner within one (3) months of the winner announcement.

12.2 Delivery will be arranged directly with the winner using the contact details provided.

 

13. Data Protection & Privacy

13.1 By entering the Competition, participants consent to the collection and processing of their personal information for purposes related to the administration of the Competition.

13.2 All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and ASUS’s Privacy Policy.

13.3 Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to fulfil the Competition or as required by law.

 

14. General

14.1 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms & Conditions or engages in fraudulent, dishonest, or unlawful conduct.

14.2 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition should circumstances beyond its control require it.

14.3 This Competition is conducted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.

14.4 South African law governs these Terms & Conditions.
